What the API does today
The Dmand AI API currently supports NPI to email enrichment for healthcare providers (HCPs, NPI Type 1). Given a 10-digit NPI number, the API returns a verified email address (personal and/or professional) if one is found. Executive enrichment and non-NPI lookups are not yet supported.How it works

Submit an NPI (Type 1 – Individual)
Send a 10-digit NPI to
POST /api/v1/email (single) or POST /api/v1/email/bulk (up to 45 NPIs).2
Receive an ID
The API returns HTTP 202 with a
batch_id and per-NPI request_id values.3
Get results
Poll
GET /api/v1/email/{request_id} for a single lookup or GET /api/v1/batch/{batch_id} for a batch. You can also include a webhook URL in your request, and we’ll send the results to it when they’re ready.4
Read the email
When
status is completed, the data array item contains the verified email and related fields.https://ext-api.dmand.ai. All public paths are under /api/v1.
We only return emails that have been verified in the last 30 days. If an NPI’s email is older than that, we verify it again or look it up fresh, which can take up5-10 minutes per NPI. If a lookup doesn’t finish within 5-10 minutes, it’s marked as failed and the credits are refunded.
